A Friendship Born from Family and Faith

Suzanne and Jamie first met at church. Over time, their shared interests led them to start a small business repurposing furniture. They enjoyed the creative process, especially styling their booth at a local shop. One day, Jamie asked Suzanne what she would do if she could choose any career. At the time, Suzanne had just staged her brother’s home for sale, which sold immediately, and around the same time a mutual realtor friend had suggested they consider staging professionally. The idea stuck, and when Jamie later came across a staging course, she called Suzanne right away. That moment sparked the beginning of their business journey, turning their shared passion into a full-time venture.

A Lifelong Passion for Design

For Suzanne, creativity has been a constant companion since her teenage years. Even back then, rearranging her room in new, fresh ways wasn’t just a hobby—it was a glimpse into a lifelong passion for creating inviting spaces. As a wife and mom and now as Mimi, she believes a home should reflect the unique story of its family while extending a warm welcome to guests.

Jamie, on the other hand,  has always been drawn to making a house feel like a true home—one that’s not only beautiful but also warm and welcoming. Working side by side with Suzanne has only deepened her love for design. As a wife, mom, and Mae Mae, Jamie’s commitment to creating warm, inviting spaces has remained a constant source of joy, driven by her love for family, friends, and hospitality.

From Staging to a Full-Fledged Business

When Suzanne and Jamie first began home staging, they quickly discovered that the creative process was a small piece of the equation. They soon learned that running a staging company was about 20% staging and a whopping 80% business management. Over the past eight and a half years, they’ve mastered the art of balancing creative vision with the practicalities of running a business—from fine-tuning operations and building a robust team to navigating the complexities of client relationships. And through it all, they’ve remained grateful for the mentorship and encouragement offered by industry veterans.

Building a Dream Team

No great journey is traveled alone, and for Suzanne and Jamie, the support system has been nothing short of extraordinary. Their husbands have been their biggest cheerleaders (and, at one point, even served as their logistics team), while their team members, realtor partners, and social media manager have each played a vital role in their growth. Being part of The Staging Collective—a nationwide community dedicated to encouraging, educating, and empowering home stagers—has also been a game-changer. It’s a network that not only inspires them but also keeps them connected to the pulse of the industry.

What started as a two-person venture has evolved into a thriving operation that now boasts a 3,600-square-foot warehouse and a talented team staging homes across the Metro Phoenix, Arizona area. It’s a transformation fueled by creativity, hard work, and a whole lot of fun along the way.

A Glimpse Into Their Personal Lives

Beyond the world of home staging, both Jamie and Suzanne lead vibrant personal lives filled with family, friends and fun!  Suzanne, who’s been married to her husband Tom for an impressive 42 years, cherishes every moment spent with their four daughters, their amazing sons-in-law, and nine delightful grandkids. Whether it’s riding bikes, sharing coffee and conversation, or simply enjoying the beauty of spending time together, Suzanne’s life is a blend of love, laughter, and simple joys.

Jamie, married to her wonderful husband George for 36 years, treasures the time she spends with him, their two sons, their equally amazing wives, and four adorable grandchildren. When she’s not busy creating stunning home environments, Jamie loves embarking on road trips, exploring the mountains, and serving her church community. While she’s the only one who adores coffee in her family, her husband’s unwavering support for her caffeinated adventures is always appreciated!
