One of the best parts of being an interior designer is getting an early look at the colors, materials, and furniture styles that will soon influence homes everywhere.
That is one of the many reasons our StyleHouse team attends the Las Vegas Market.
The Las Vegas Market is a major home furnishings industry event where furniture, lighting, art, décor, and accessory brands showcase their latest collections. Designers can walk through showrooms, experience new pieces in person, and see how the interior design industry is evolving.
While beautiful furniture is certainly part of the experience, attending market is about much more than finding inspiration. It gives us the opportunity to stay current on emerging interior design trends, build relationships with new vendors, strengthen our existing partnerships, and shop for pieces with specific client projects in mind.
During our latest trip, three showrooms especially stood out to us: Four Hands, Classic Home, and Alder & Tweed. From rich wood grains and dramatic colors to sculptural stone and cottage-inspired details, these were six of the biggest interior design trends we noticed throughout market.
The Four Hands showroom was filled with warmth, character, and furniture that felt both current and collected. Two trends immediately caught our attention.

1. Burl Wood Furniture Was Everywhere
Burl wood was one of the most noticeable furniture trends at Las Vegas Market. We saw its distinctive swirling grain incorporated into nightstands, coffee tables, accent cabinets, and other statement pieces.
Unlike a simple wood finish, burl wood introduces natural movement and variation. Every piece feels slightly different, allowing it to add character to a room without relying on a bold color or pattern.
The key is to use it intentionally. A burl wood piece can serve as a beautiful focal point without making the entire room feel overly trendy.

Light and airy interiors are not disappearing, but we are continuing to see a shift toward rooms with more depth and atmosphere.
At Four Hands, deeper wood tones, warm browns, curved silhouettes, dramatic wall colors, and layered textiles created spaces that felt intimate and sophisticated. The rooms were moody without feeling dark or uninviting.
The newest version of moody interior design is all about balance. Darker colors and finishes are softened with natural textures, comfortable upholstery, warm lighting, and organic shapes.
For homeowners ready to move beyond all-white or all-beige interiors, we can help introduce deeper paint colors, dark wood accents, and richly colored textiles to create a more interesting and personal space.
Alder & Tweed presented a comfortable and collected approach to design. Their showroom combined traditional influences with updated silhouettes, warm colors, and plenty of texture.

Warm fall colors appeared throughout the Alder & Tweed showroom, including chocolate brown, cream, rust, muted blue, and other earthy neutrals.
Rather than relying on one bold accent color, these rooms layered several related shades through upholstery, rugs, wood finishes, and accessories. This created depth while still allowing the spaces to feel cohesive and calming.
Homeowners do not need to completely replace their existing color palette to try this trend. A vintage-inspired rug, brown upholstered chair, patterned pillow, or warm wood table can introduce the look in a subtle and livable way.

Cottage-inspired interior design is continuing to evolve, but the newest version feels more polished than rustic.
At Alder & Tweed, we noticed pleated lampshades, traditional sconces, softly rounded upholstery, warm wood furniture, and scalloped edges. These familiar features created a sense of comfort and history, while cleaner furniture silhouettes kept the rooms from looking dated. The result felt timeless, inviting, and intentionally styled.
We can help Arizona homeowners incorporate this Alder & Tweed-inspired trend into their homes in a way that adds personality without feeling overly decorated. Rather than filling a room with themed cottage décor, we focus on a few thoughtful details, such as patterned textiles, scalloped accents, warm wood tones, and softly curved furnishings.
The Classic Home showroom focused on texture and natural materials. The furniture felt comfortable and inviting, while unique fabrics and bold stone pieces added interest to each space.

Texture continues to be an important part of design, and Classic Home added a fun twist with plush accent chairs.
The soft fabrics, rounded shapes, and oversized designs made the chairs feel comfortable and inviting. They also added personality and interest to each room.
For homeowners who prefer a more subtle look, we can bring in this trend through a smaller ottoman, bench, pillow, or throw. Even one textured piece can make a room feel warmer and more finished.

Stone accent and coffee tables were another standout trend at Market. The natural color variations, visible veining, and bold shapes made each piece feel unique.
These tables added an organic feel to the Classic Home showroom while still looking polished. We especially loved seeing them paired with curved sofas and soft upholstery. The mix of solid stone and comfortable seating helped each space feel balanced and inviting.
This trend also shows a growing interest in furniture made from natural, long-lasting materials. Instead of hiding the differences in each piece, designers are embracing the unique colors, veining, and textures that make natural stone special.
Although Four Hands, Alder & Tweed, and Classic Home each had a different style, all three showrooms showed a move toward interiors that feel warmer, softer, and more personal.
Natural materials are being used in ways that highlight their unique colors and textures. Furniture is becoming more comfortable and interesting in shape, color palettes are getting richer, and traditional details are returning in a fresh and updated way.
Most of all, homes are starting to feel more collected and less perfectly matched.
At StyleHouse, we believe the best interiors should reflect the people who live in them. Trends can be a great source of inspiration, but we always adapt them to fit each homeowner’s style, lifestyle, and existing space.
