If we design a kitchen with crisp white cabinetry, for example, warm wood bar stools or a natural wood dining table may be exactly what the space needs. We want it to feel collected, balanced, and intentional.

If you are planning a color washed bedroom, wallpaper accent wall, or custom millwork, design that feature before choosing your furniture.
A soft, tonal bedroom may inspire an upholstered bed and warm wood nightstands, while a bold wallpaper could call for something completely different.
When the room sets the direction first, the furniture can complement the design instead of competing with it.
